The Recovery EP is an emotional voyage through love, loss, hope, pain and forgiveness. Quiet and intimate at times it uses Soundscapes and LoFi interludes to present this ying and yang of Male and Female perspectives intertwined as in life. Electronic rhythms push into cinematic orchestral waves of multiple instruments while swimming around in its aural textures. This EP is intended to be listened to from the beginning to the end.



Dirty Chandeliers was conceived by Duane Burda while on tour with Nine Inch Nails working with Trent Reznor. Late sleepless nights in hotels across Europe and Asia as well as numerous flights he began sketching emotional ideas on all sorts of different technologies. He went searching for a collaborator and found one in Anina Denove, a singer and multi instrumentalist. The duo traded music and lyrical ideas while writing and recording in Duane’s new studio between his work with other artists such as Jon DeRosa of Aarktica which whom Anina and Duane also performed live with. They played with analog synths and drum machines as well as acoustic drums, guitar, pianos and a multitude of whatever instruments, sound effects and pedals they could get their hands on. Building up and tearing down sounds and arrangements together until their musical expedition was complete.
